Improving processes and efficiencies

As business leaders it’s difficult take a step back from operations to know whether you are getting the most out of your Epicor ERP. An ERP process review is where a multi-industry experienced Epicor consultant can come into your business and review your business practices with particular attention paid to how Epicor ERP is woven into your current business processes.

Often during the process reviews we can find untapped features which can help our customers by improving process efficiencies or by making available previously unseen information which can influence key business decisions.

The other side to a process review is of course that we also find those areas of your system or processes that people feel uncomfortable talking about, this may include discovery of areas of your systems which may suffer from a lack of process or general indiscipline around the managing of or inputting of system data. If these discoveries are made we will work with your staff to pragmatically to talk through the processes and identify the causes and effects.

The general format of an ERP process review is typically 2 to 3 days spent onsite walking through your business processes and departments from quote to cash with further time spent remotely report writing.

The end result of a ERP process review is an unbiased report detailing your current processes and where applicable identifies improvements to processes or process gaps. Although the final report will be detailed an executive summary will provide a brief but to the point overview of what important facts have been discovered during the process.
