Due to the extent of customisation in our Epicor system the prospect of converting this to a Kinetic UI made this project highly challenging for us. Faced with the limitations of an increasingly outdated and out of support SWAN ERP platform we engaged with BlueSky to deliver an Epicor Kinetic transformation programme.
Building on a successful proof-of-concept configurator developed during an initial discovery phase, Bluesky took the business from solution validation through to full production deployment. Over a four-month implementation period, the Bluesky team configured and deployed Epicor Kinetic 2025.1, ensuring that business processes were aligned with operational requirements while leveraging the latest platform capabilities.
The programme went live and was supported by a dedicated post-implementation aftercare period to ensure a smooth transition for end users and rapid resolution of any early-life issues. As part of the deployment, the organisation adopted Epicor’s enhanced Delivery Plans functionality, providing improved visibility, planning accuracy, and greater control across fulfilment and supply chain processes. A dedicated post-go-live aftercare period ensured a smooth transition for users, while targeted training enabled centralised Accounts teams to quickly embrace the intuitive Kinetic user experience and new working practices.”
The business upgraded from Vantage 8 to Epicor 10. Due to the business having no internal IT resource it was recognised that we had to rely heavily on Blue Sky to steer us through.
Neil and Dele were brilliant during this time, as not only did they have a good understanding of the system, they could also relate to the business needs. The upgrade went well, because all or at least most of the potential problem areas had been identified prior to upgrade during testing.

We migrated from a legacy SAP system to Epicor 10. We were reliant on Neil from Blue Sky from an early stage into the project. He had the detailed understanding of Epicor both at the technical and the functional level and therefore could take a holistic approach to our project.
